Each year we set family goals. In 2008 we all agreed that our family goal was to camp a lot in the summer and I can say that we definitely accomplished the task. Russ worked two hours from home all summer so we packed up and followed him to Canyon Creek Campground in Hixon. While Russ worked the boys and I camped, rode bikes, swam in the creek and lazily read books. We had sooooo much fun. In the Evenings Russ ate dutchoven dinners around the campfire with us and we played card games in the trailer. The showers were warm, The weather beautiful, and the company was pretty darn good too.

That looks like good old fashioned COLD Canadian water in the height of summer. The boys I am sure still enjoyed it!
